CONTAINER DELIVERY DRIVER

Job Overview

Nexus Disposal is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Container Delivery Driver with a valid Class A CDL to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of roll-off and front-load containers to and from customer sites, construction locations, and company facilities. This is a full-time position offering steady weekday hours and the opportunity to work with a growing, customer-focused waste management company.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate roll-off and/or flatbed trucks to deliver, pick up, and relocate commercial waste containers.

• Safely load, secure, and unload containers using hydraulic hoists and other equipment.

• Follow scheduled delivery routes and complete all stops in a timely manner.

• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle daily.

• Maintain logs of working hours, vehicle service, and delivery records per DOT and company requirements.

• Communicate with dispatch and customers in a professional and courteous manner.

• Ensure containers are properly placed at delivery locations and meet customer needs.

• Follow all company safety protocols, traffic laws, and DOT regulations at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.

• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.

• Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a DOT drug screen.

• Experience operating roll-off trucks or similar equipment is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and manage a delivery schedule.

• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

• Must be able to lift, bend, and work in various outdoor conditions.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
