SUMMARY:

The Environmental Services Engineer will perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain assigned facilities in a clean and orderly manner. The position is also required to perform heavy cleaning duties such as shampooing rugs, stripping and waxing floors, as well as movement of furniture at the direction of the Environmental Services Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the tribal standards of cleanliness are achieved and maintained for assigned properties when providing environmental service such as:
- Service, clean, and replenish supplies in restrooms.
- Clean and maintain building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash from tribal offices, buildings, and outside areas near entry/exit doors.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment necessary to perform daily tasks and notify supervisor to replenish supply inventory.
- Knowledgeable and aware of the locations of hazardous material (HazCom), Bloodborne Pathogens and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
- Notify supervisor concerning the need for structural repairs or operational issues to mechanical systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
