Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a passionate Maintenance Worker to join our Facility Services team in Tacoma. We do provide training.

Scope:
Comprehensive Life Resources operates at five different locations, including its main building in downtown Tacoma, two residential buildings, and offices in Spanaway and Gig Harbor. The facilities team is a high-demand, highly valuable part of the organization.
Maintenance workers provide routine and preventive maintenance at all of these facilities. They are part of organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to design and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system.
- Monitor and ensure supplies, tools, and equipment inventories.
- Assist in performance of janitorial and groundskeeping duties as directed.
- Ensure ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
- Attend all assigned meetings, staff meetings, and designated training sessions.
- In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to design and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system
- Repairs due to wear and tear
- Trouble Shooting and problem solving
- Landscaping
- Painting
- Monitor equipment and inventory
- Assist in performance of janitorial and grounds keeping duties as directed.
- In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED.
- Significant related experience in building maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and skill in construction, electrical, and plumbing work.
- Ability and availability to be mobile and to perform maintenance and repair work in all facilities.
- Skilled in MS Word and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.
- Availability to work varied hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Must have valid WA state driver’s license and proof of insurance
