Purpose:  This position is responsible for accurate tracking, labeling, efficient storage and timely distribution of goods and materials.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs counts of critical inventory items daily
  • Confirms that physical inventory matches system inventory by performing full and cycle inventory counts. 
  • Ensures all incoming materials are labeled properly
  • Maintain, manage, and update inventory items in software system, knowledge of Acumatica and JIRA, a plus. 
  • Assist the purchasing department with miscellaneous administration responsibilities
  • Tracks inventory, maintains accurate stock levels, and investigates inventory discrepancies. 
  • Receives and resolves incoming request involving transaction discrepancies reported by Operations, Customer Service or Purchasing. 
  • Ensure storage areas are well-organized and comply with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail a MUST.   
  • Ability to understand the purpose of various inventory tracking methods and forms with accurate and timely completion of transactions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while keeping the supply of materials to the various production areas current, in addition to maintaining accurate and timely records.
  • Must possess competent or above computer skills.  Experience & competency using Microsoft Office required.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills
  • Ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds occasionally required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years (recent) inventory management experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills, required.
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry, preferred.
