IT Helpdesk Technician

Position Purpose

Arizona Snowbowl is seeking a friendly, entry-level Helpdesk Technician to join our IT team at the ski resort. This is a part-time, in person, hourly position, perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in IT for the 2025-2026 Winter Season.

Arizona Snowbowl IT is dedicated to supporting the technology usage of users in all departments at the mountain, with professional knowledge and excellent, friendly, customer service. We are seeking an entry-level technician to join our team to continue to provide on-site troubleshooting support to users, and to assist in implementation and maintenance of new and existing systems across the mountain. Standout candidates will have general experience with technology devices, an interest in learning new technologies, great troubleshooting, customer service skills, and of course, a passion for being on the mountain!

Responsibilities:

• Provide first response support to users from all departments through use of phone calls, emails, on-site visits, Google Chat, and from an in-house ticketing system.
  • General troubleshooting of technical issues
  • Ability to follow step-by-step instructions to resolve various technical issues
  • Password resets
• Assist with physical implementation of new technology systems around the mountain.
• Create tickets for issues to be escalated to higher level technicians.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent problem solving, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of computer systems and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Ability to breakdown technical issues to provide step-by-step instructions for resolution.
• Patient, friendly demeanor with a focus on listening to user concerns.

• Experience with working in a tech-related or customer service field.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Team-oriented mindset with an openness to constructive feedback.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Ability to ski or snowboard at a level that can get you around the mountain safely.
