SUMMARY
Atelier Ace is the in-house creative studio that develops and operates Ace Hotels and their partners and affiliates. The full-service studio is composed of multi-disciplinary thinkers, designers, architects, enthusiasts, optimists and friends — with some number of folks to keep things upright. With a creative and operations team that understands the essence of our brands and products, Atelier Ace aims to create inspiring, cohesive and meaningful experiences for people.

The Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for the full expression of the Ace brand across digital channels. This leader must balance delivering commercial performance with elevating the Ace brand and capturing the culture and spirit that makes the Ace experience unique.

The Director implements strategies and programs that increase demand, enhance sales, identify additional sales channels, attract traffic to the company website and promote our online presence.  The candidate must have deep experience with developing multi-channel digital marketing strategies that utilize paid search, social, SEO, affiliate marketing, email, and SMS. This is a hands-on role that requires strategic vision and tactical execution.

This role oversees both paid and organic social media. The leader must have demonstrated success using social media to drive brand awareness and engagement as well as performance metrics like traffic and click-through. Must bring a strong creative voice and up to the minute understanding of social media trends and capabilities. 

The Director of Digital Marketing must have expert level understanding of analytics including measurement of incrementality, fractional allocation, cohort modeling, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value. This leader is responsible for maintaining a practice of testing and optimization across all digital channels.

Additionally responsible for leading the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract, engage and retain visitors and promote bookings through social media, email and mobile marketing campaigns. This role is also responsible for the analysis of online statistics, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketing performance.

CORE FOCUS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Create and implement strategies to improve brand awareness and online presence.
  2. Lead the development, implementation and measurement of digital marketing campaigns.
  3. Calculate and manage budgets for digital marketing projects.
  4. Review web statistics and other data to improve marketing strategy.
  5. Oversee the creation and quality of digital content for blogs, social media and other channels.
  6. Track metrics like click-through rates, unsubscribe rate, and project completion rate.
  7. Work with creative teams and other areas to ensure campaigns are integrated with the company’s overall goals.
  8. Use multiple digital channels to amplify key messages and engage diverse audiences.
  9. Maintain consistent brand messaging across all social media channels.
  10. Create and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content.

 

SUPPORTING FUNCTIONS
In addition to the core focus & responsibilities, the candidate is expected to complete the following duties:

  1. Generate reports for key stakeholders to share campaign results and performance.
  2. Conduct keyword research and review web statistics to improve strategy.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.
  4. Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and technologies to advance key priorities and initiatives.

  9. Fluent in Google Workspace applications.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or the equivalent experience to provide the knowledge and skills required. This position additionally requires an in-depth knowledge of digital trends gathered from a minimum of 5 years experience working in digital marketing.

  6. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
