Planting Paths to Harvest Success: James River Equipment Scholarship Program with VHSL

We believe investing in our communities will sustain those communities for years to come. James River Equipment invites graduating high school seniors in VA to apply for one of 5 scholarship opportunities to be awarded in May 2025:

• 3- $3000 Scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in heavy equipment/diesel technology

• 2- $2000 Scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in agricultural/life sciences, agribusiness, leadership, sales, or marketing

Scholarships will be awarded to the individual and can be used toward tuition, fees, books and travel/housing.

Internships within James River Equipment will also be available to scholarship recipients.

Must be a current high school senior at a school in Virginia graduating in Spring 2025 going on to attend a program as outlined above.

Please attach to the application the following. If you have any issues attaching these to the application, our scholarship coordinator will contact you to submit these via email:

• A brief letter (200 words or less) or video of intent addressing need (if applicable) and how/why they are choosing their path of study

• Two professional recommendations 

• Scanned copy of the student’s acceptance letter in their program of study

Deadline for applying is March 3, 2025.
