System Engineer/Analyst

Overview

SCCI is currently seeking a Navy Training System Scenario Developer to join our team! The successful candidate will provide support to the Surface Combat Systems Training Center (SCSTC) in the development of training scenarios for use aboard shipboard systems. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Develop multi-threat, multi-war force scenarios in AEGIS Combat Training System (ACTS), Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT) and Advanced Training Domain (ATD) for use aboard shipboard systems
• Collaborate with other scenario development teams to include ACTS and BFTT
• Participate in scenario development meetings relating to ATD scenario tasking
• Interface with customers, management, and employees

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School Diploma
• Must have 4 years of combat system shipboard experience on board an AEGIS or SSDS platforms
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Have attention to detail, a care about the quality of work, and a drive for results
• Must have organizational, task tracking, and follow up skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 2 years of experience developing multi-threat, multi-war force scenarios
