Job Purpose:
The Banquet Bartender at Stockyards Station delivers exceptional beverage service for events, preparing and serving drinks with hospitality and efficiency, while helping create memorable guest experiences that reflect the spirit of the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and breakdown banquet bars according to Event Order specifications.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using standard recipes and portion control.
- Greet and serve guests at the bar with warm, professional, and attentive hospitality.
- Assist servers with drink orders and coordinate service in a timely manner.
- Restock and maintain cleanliness of bar areas, tools, glassware, garnishes, and supplies throughout the event.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, follow proper cash-handling and tip procedures, and reconcile cash bank at end of shift.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption, exercise sound judgment, and notify management of any intoxicated or disruptive guests.
- Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines as required by law and company policy.
- Communicate effectively with banquet captains, servers, kitchen staff, and management for seamless service execution.
- Transport and store bar equipment and product safely and efficiently.
- All other duties as assigned.
