SUMMARY
The Purchasing / Receiving Clerk ("Recepcionista de MercancĂas") coordinates the daily procurement, storage, and issuance of all hotel food and beverage as well as its operating supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Receives products from vendor deliveries and unloads trucks at the loading dock.
- Compares packing lists to company purchase orders and ensures that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Updates the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory.
- Packages products for return to vendors and fills out any paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up.
- Follows department standards to ensure consistent, high-quality service.
- Coordinates the issuance and control of all support materials necessary for the daily business levels.
- Prepares a daily invoice receiving the report.
- Uses and ensures that storage equipment (i.e.; shelving, walk-in boxes, scales etc.) are properly stocked and well-organized.
- Ensures the proper rotation of all perishable items (FIFO).
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
