Position Summary
The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Functions/Job Duties
- Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; prepares and loads parcels for mailing.
- Receives, unloads, inspects, verifies, and warehouses items shipped to the warehouse; maintains log of incoming and outgoing freight at the warehouse.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Operates heavy machinery such as forklifts, unboxing equipment and racking machines to move and store equipment.
- Uses FedEx Ship Manager system to enter and track shipment records.
- Maintains accurate inventory records through use of a computerized inventory system.
- Sweeps, dusts and mops; organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Follows all warehouse policies and procedures; wears the proper safety equipment.
- Maintains valid driver’s license at all times, may be required to earn forklift certification.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

- Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to detail.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift.
