Job Summary:Â
Xponential Fitness seeks a highly organized, detail- and team-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing complex litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience as a litigation paralegal, a strong understanding of the litigation life cycle and legal concepts, and experience successfully communicating complex concepts to internal stakeholders. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for reviewing and digesting legal documents, maintaining calendars and to-do lists for attorneys, creating summaries of cases for financial reporting, assisting with factual discovery and document gathering / production, and ensuring all case-related documents and processes are maintained with precision and efficiency. This role requires knowledge of court and arbitral procedures, superior organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment. A sense of humor, willingness to ask questions, and adherence to kind and respectful conduct is required.
Responsibilities:
- Manages litigation databases and calendars.
- Assists with preparation and organization of quarterly Board and regulatory reporting agendas and materials.
- Tracks status of cases and deliverables for in-house legal team.Â
- Liaises with arbitral administrators and tracks cases on PACER and state-court websites.
- Assists with preparation for mediations and trials, including compiling and maintaining data involving thousands of studios.Â
- Leads the litigation hold process, including assisting with drafting, managing and tracking litigation holds.Â
- Works with IT and outside vendors to ensure data related to litigation is properly preserved.
- Supports in-house attorneys with due diligence requests and discovery processes, including fact-finding, witness interviews, document collection and e-discovery; organizes and drafts responses to requests for information for attorney’s review.
- Drafts tender letters to insurance companies and communications to opposing parties for counsel’s review.
- Assists with case intake, including categorizing cases, tracking risk level of cases and helping to review and organize law firm and expert retainer letters.Â
- Assists with management of insurance coverage and tracks same.
- Organize and maintain case files, discovery materials, and legal documents with a high degree of accuracy. Assists in developing and updating SOP playbooks to ensure efficiency and compliance.Â
- Organizes and calendars meetings and phone calls.
- Works with accounting team and accounts payable to ensure settlement payments are timely and the Company is informed of upcoming required payments and accruals.
- Assists attorneys in ensuring follow-through by Business of recommended actions.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic and takes ownership of complex projects with minimal supervision while demonstrating sound judgment and superior decision-making, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills; meets prescribed deadlines and communicates effectively about workload.

- Coordinates cross-functional legal input by working closely with other attorneys and paralegals in the legal department.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the VP of Legal Affairs or other department attorneys.

Pay Range: $35 - $50 hourly
