QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Airline Transport Pilot License, fixed-wing multi-engine land aircraft and appropriate flight experience in the make and type of aircraft operated by the Midwest Transplant Network required. Required airman physical must be acquired and maintained. Must meet the minimum aircrew requirements for pilot in command.
- Minimum 2500 total flight hours of which, 1000 are in jet turbine aircraft, 1000 in multi-engine aircraft, 1000 PIC, and a type rating for a CESSNA 525 or similar. Must be able to obtain 525 type rating within 6 months of hire required.
- Undergraduate degree in aviation management or similar business/management concentration preferred.
- Proven ability to lead a team, coordinate internal and external resources and achieve measurable results against goals.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, problem analysis and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate peers and achieve cooperation.
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and participate in 12-hour call, including evenings and weekends. Required to work for extended periods of time with few breaks.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with MTN motor vehicle policy. Must have reliable personal automobile transportation to be used with company reimbursement using IRS guidelines.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer short distances.
- Possess manual dexterity sufficient to operate telephones, computers and all required airplane equipment.
- Ability to speak and communicate clearly in order to accurately convey information whether in person, over the phone or aircraft radio.
- English proficiency required.
- Vision correctable to meet pilot qualifications.
- OSHA Category III – No exposure to bloodborne pathogens while performing assigned job duties.
- Home internet access may be required.
