Position responsibilities

As a Bottega Louie Barista, you are fundamental to the success of the company. The Bottega Louie brand is a diverse, bold, and vibrant visual language that is most profoundly seen in our exquisite pastries, chocolates, and elegantly packaged market products.

Candidates should be reliable, timely, consistent, organized, a team player, and able to energize and motivate. The ability to give and receive feedback is necessary. A willingness to learn will help open doors to future opportunities, growth, and development.

  • Work closely with other staff to create a steady flow of service.
  • Create all Bottega Louie’s coffees and teas for the market and café.
  • Responsible for abiding by Bottega Louie recipe standards, sanitation standards, and maintaining speed of service.
  • Barista makes every drink with care and to the guest’s likings.
  • Keeps a well-stocked and organized workstation and communicates any needs to utility or a manager.
  • Take out the trash, retrieve products, and restock.

  • KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a quality driven service environment.
  • Illustrates a strong desire to develop new barista beverages seasonally.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available days, nights, and weekends, as well as holidays.
  • You have at least two (2) years of experience in a similar position, ideally in high volume barista/coffee bars.
  • You are well versed, dedicated, and technical with the ability to effectively manage and execute flawless finished beverages consistently.
  • You exhibit a helpful, supportive communication style and are collaborative within a structured job.
  • You are comfortable in a training and leadership role that encourages growth for all team members.
  • Must be available days, nights, and weekends, as well as holidays.
  • Must have a Food Handler Card
  • $18 /hour +plus tips
