- Mechanical aptitude and skills
- Work experience on AC/DC motors, mechanical gear boxes, and gear reducers
- Familiarity with one or more of the following pieces of equipment: stacker cranes, conveyors, and/or AGV's.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to read and understand equipment drawings
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (AS) in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering; 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in Material handling equipment is a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
TRAVEL
This position requires up to 90% travel including domestic and international and work at installation sites for extended periods of time. A valid drivers license and good driving record are required.
