EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); four to five years experience working in production/manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift certification is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. A clear understanding of written and spoken English is necessary.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to complete production reports and describe equipment and production issues to management.

The ability to efficiently delegate work assignments

Proficient interpreting blueprints, diagrams and schematics (pneumatic and hydraulic).

Excellent mechanical and/or electrical assembly aptitude and attention to details.

Proficiency using pliers, wire cutters, wrenches, screwdrivers and other hands tools is required.

Proficiency with power tools such as saws, grinders, drills and lathers is required.

Dedication to quality workmanship and the ability to lead others.

Good understanding of computers and math skills.

Good understanding of computer equipment and programs.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to listen and follow instruction while working independently in a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands small, medium and large components. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
