Latin School of Chicago seeks a full-time faculty member to teach Math in the Upper school beginning in Fall 2025.

Latin School of Chicago seeks a creative and innovative Upper School Mathematics Teacher who is passionate about mathematics and connecting with and supporting students. Strong candidates will be well-versed in mathematical content Algebra 1 - Calculus, and have a demonstrated commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 4 classes per semester
- Serve as advisor to 8-10 students
- Attend department meetings, division meetings, and all-school faculty/staff meetings
- Develop and lead an experiential learning Project Week (second week of March)
- Work closely with department members, department chair, and division director to design lesson plans and curriculum that is aligned and responsive to student needs
- Write written narratives two times per year
- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
- Attend and supervise students during assemblies, gatherings, and other school functions

Compensation:
- Salary is $64,622 - $114,967 annually, based on education level and years of experience as outlined in our Faculty Scale.
