GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Provide day-to-day nursing care to residents, supervise and assist LNAs in delivering personal care, maintain and administer medications, prepare nursing records, schedule and accompany residents to medical and rehabilitation appointments, and process admissions and discharges. Serve as charge nurse or med nurse as assigned.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides direct nursing care to residents and day students.
- Serves as liaison with physicians, pharmacies, audiologists, dentists, and other medical providers.
- Oversees programming and care provided by nursing assistants.
- Maintains ongoing communication with families.
- Participates in meetings and performs administrative functions in support of the nursing role.
SHIFT HOURS:
- 12-hour shifts: 4:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
- Starting pay: $42 per hour.
- Shift differentials:
- Evening shift: $2.00 per hour
- Overnight shift: $4.00 per hour
- Weekend shift: Additional $5.00 per hour
