This is a part time position averaging 4-6 hours per week
This position reports to the Division Manager or local Sales Manager. The Account Manager position is a key role designed to support our key regional accounts in achieving their targets and customer expectations in sales revenue, inventory management, and operational requirements. It is a customer facing role involving opportunity identification to stimulate incremental sales. The requirements of an Account Manager are to have a robust knowledge of all products and services provided by Premier Packaging. Articulate and advise our existing and prospective clients on how to best utilize our products and services within their company. Additionally, assist in vendor managed inventory and execute our key strategic focuses or an on-going basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Daily/Weekly interaction and performance of organic growth opportunities within the current customer base.
• Daily/Weekly interaction with internal Premier Packaging support team and employees.
• Complete vendor managed inventory for existing clients.
• Monthly reporting of prospects and projects being worked on to local or Regional Sales Manager.
• Organization of monthly “ride-along” with local or Regional Sales Manager.
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Premier Packaging’s products and service offerings.
• Prepare and perform Quarterly Business Review presentations with top clients as depicted by your local or Regional Sales Manager.
• Keep track of and follow aged inventory. Inventory to flow on a 30-day turn cycle.
• Assist accounting and follow up on collections for payment.
• Primary point of contact for customer escalations & to carry out resolutions in a timely manner
• Help Premier grow its business and assist in carrying out the marketing plan and direction for the company.
• Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college preferred, but not required
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, planning and organizational skills are required.
• Position requires the ability to maintain an above average level of accuracy, quantity and proficiency of work in a busy atmosphere.
• Adaptability and dependability are required.
