In this role, you will work with children ages 3-5 to support their behavioral development in a nurturing, play-based environment. You will have the opportunity to assess, plan and implement individualized behavior strategies, collaborating with families, teacher and a multidisciplinary team to help children achieve their educational and developmental goals.
Key Essentials Job Functions:

Provide large group and 1:1 hand on training to ABA classroom staff on ABA specific assessments, Discrete Trial Teaching, NET, data collection and other ABA procedures

Provide coaching to staff on how to implement the Behavior Intervention Plans as written, via modeling, verbal feedback, written feedback and additional training

Create materials needed for classrooms (visual schedules, token boards, PECS icons, first-then cards, etc.)

Collect and analyze data related to student behaviors, including frequency, duration, and intensity.

Collaborate with behavior support staff, BCBA, educators, or other professionals to develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Ensure BIPs are tailored to the student’s specific needs, taking into account their environment, triggers, and preferences.

Work closely with teachers, families, behavior support staff, and other team members to implement a consistent behavior support plan.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, talk and hear. Walk to and from various locations in the building. May need to stoop, bend, and sometimes lift or push wheelchairs of children being served. Physical intervention techniques may be required to aid the children in challenging moments. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and ability to focus.
