The AVP of Integrated Health Services will report to the VP of on Integrated Health Services to ensure maximization of all program outcomes for the Health Home program, Mental Health Clinic, HCBS and 29i clinic. They will play a primary role in ensuring that each program will meet stated client outreach goals and ensure staffing level for all programs are appropriate.

  • Administrative oversight of Health Home programs, including billing and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish standards of quality care management practices. 
  • Oversee the operations and directly manage Director of Health Homes, Associate Clinic Director, Client and Operations Manager, Intake Coordinator, Community Outreach Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with the Director & Community Partnership Coordinator to develop new partnership leads for referral sources with the goal of recruiting clients through community-based organizations.
  • Ensure that there is an enrollment minimum of 30 clients per month into Health Home programs. Monitor and review distribution of caseload for HHSC & HHSA.
  • Monitor billing activity and assist with problem resolution, including, but not limited to the use of Monthly Revenue Projection tool, tracking of non-billable clients and review of client signature forms.
  • Lead All Staff team meetings and ensure ongoing training requirements are met in accordance with staff needs, interests and Health Home requirements. Act as primary interface with lead Health Home personnel related to care management matters. Ensure coverage of all enrolled cases, including number of newly enrolled clients to determine hiring of additional staff. 
  • Review and enforce plans of corrective action in response to statements of deficiency with Vice President’s approval. 
  • Work closely with Outreach Manager to develop strategies to meet enrollment targets. Provide weekly, and as needed, supervision to Outreach Manager.
  • Ensure that there is an enrollment minimum of 15 clients per month into Outpatient Mental Health Clinic.
  • Assist Director of Article 31 clinic recruit and hire clinicians as needed.
  • Ensure coverage of all enrolled clients, including number of newly enrolled clients to determine hiring of additional staff. 
  • Oversee the operations and implementation of HCBS, including billing and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with VP of Foster Care and Foster Care Directors to maximize the number of FC children/youth receiving Primary Care in the clinic. 
  • Participates in in-service trainings and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in a health related field
  • 5 years experience overseeing human health services in a similar industry
  • License preferred but not required (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC)
  • Experience with Article31/Mental Health Outpatient Treatment Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS), 29i clinics and Health Home Services preferred
