Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from four year college or equivalent.
- Minimum of at least five years nonprofit accounting experience.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP.
- Previous fiscal work experience with NYC, NYS, Federal and private grants & contracts.
- Experience preparing the NYS SSOP, NYS CFR, or Uniform Guidance (formerly A-133) reports.
- Prior experience contributing to funder and agency audits.
- Advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word, accounting systems, and other common workplace software.
- Able to provide insightful analysis of complex fiscal scenarios in a timely manner.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
