Description

HeartShare St. Vincent’s Services is seeking a Clinical Program  Administrator to join our Children Community Residences (CCR). The Program Clinical Administrator will report to the Program Director and will be responsible for providing clinical oversight of  two  CCRS- One in Brooklyn and One in Queens,  and the vocational specialist.  The Clinical Program Administrator is expected to demonstrate a trauma-informed lens approach. The ideal candidate should have experience working with youths exposed to trauma and be able to utilize Darla 3-5-7 model of approaching trauma, loss, and grief.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversees the intake process to ensure the CCRS are meeting maximum capacity
  • Ensure all required documentation, including but not limited to session notes, treatment plans, billable notes and client correspondences are reviewed and signed, accurate and timely documented
  • Participates in in-service trainings and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development. Attends external trainings and workshops at direction of management. Attends relevant meetings to support program administration
  • Identify/conduct trainings in conjunction with orientation of new staff and ongoing professional growth/development of staff.
  • Strong interpersonal and cognitive skills in analysis, assessment, creative and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision- making. 
  • Represents the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision and values of the agency. Personally, adheres to organizational mission, vision and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures.
  •   Assist in the handling of crisis and emergency situation
  • Facilitates family team meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Create a trauma-informed, engaging environment for both staff and young people.
  • Performs other duties as required to support the needs of the program.
  • Reviews all incidents immediately and follow reporting protocols such as updating appropriate staff, Program/Regional Director, and Data Analysis and Accountability.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work with a minimum of three years of experience working in the mental health, residential or other appropriate child welfare setting
  • LCSW preferred; LMSW required (English/Bilingual preferred)
  • Experience using CAIRS database
  • Familiar with the CCR referral process through CSPOA
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional ability to work collaboratively with internal staff and external auditors
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
