Position Summary:
Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is an internal customer-facing role supporting PSI’s employees and managers. The focus is fostering effective employee relations and delivering robust policies, practices, and solutions to optimize employee engagement, further the business’s success, and ensure compliance with employment law and regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, coaching, and counsel to leaders and managers on issues pertaining to performance management, employee relations, learning and development, and other strategic and tactical support
- Respond to, investigate, and support the effective resolution of employee concerns and incidents, ensuring fair and consistent application of HR policies and practices
- Act as the voice of the employee, directly building relationships with employees across functional areas as well as identifying and implementing new channels for engagement (Town Halls, focus groups, Intranet, etc.) and generally being a visible representative of the human resources team and leadership across the entire employee population
- Support the development of new and evolving initiatives by the HR team by analyzing activity, trends, and data, and developing recommendations for solutions
- Actively coach, train, and develop hourly and salaried managers and employees through new program launches to project implementation and review
- Implement and administer programs and initiatives to support employee engagement and development, including compliance training, employee recognition, and employee appreciation
- Perform all duties following safety standards, ensuring work areas are kept clean and free of hazards
- All other duties as assigned by management
