Working with our team, you will experience a company that is grounded in faith, with honesty and professionalism.  Ideal candidates for this position will be responsible for performing highly skilled level electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade.  Responsibilities will include managing, designing, developing and implementing programmable logic controller (PLC) systems and automation solutions for our industrial processes, while optimizing production efficiency, enhancing system performance, and ensuring the seamless operation of our environmental technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform work required for the repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of electrical systems for buildings, equipment, and grounds for both high and/or low voltage.
  • Provide resolution to mechanical and electrical problems of machinery, including installation or removal.
  • Utilize Autocad, SEE Electrical, or Solidworks to design schematics.
  • Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers and programmable logic controls.
  • Maintenance and repair of motors and control boxes
  • Maintenance on PLC’s, variable speed drives, starters, etc.
  • Awareness of emergency procedures
  • Maintain precise records and files with an orderly work environment
  • Procedures for lockout/tag out
  • Perform other related duties as may be required by Management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time throughout the country.

 

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Two-year degree in Electronics Engineering or Military equivalent program or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience that is directly related to the electrical field in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with ethernet IP protocol.
  • Experience with Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Connected Components Workbench
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation (CompactLogix, ControlLogix, SLC, Powerflex VFDs, Panelview HMIs)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade.
  • Ability to apply National Electrical Code (NEC) Standards.
  • Ability to use hand power tools applicable to the trade.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented, accuracy and ability to handle pressure.
  • Ability to take initiative and work without supervision
  • Team player
