🏔️ Ski Patroller – Winter 2025/2026

Location: Brian Head Resort | Department: Ski Patrol
Type: Seasonal | Start Date: November 2025 | End Date: April 2026

Do you thrive in the mountains and have a passion for safety and helping others?

As a Ski Patroller at Brian Head Resort, you’ll respond to on-mountain emergencies, provide first aid, mitigate trail hazards, and support the daily operations that promote safe skiing and riding that is enjoyable for everyone.

 What You’ll Do:

  • Respond to on-mountain incidents and provide emergency care, including first aid and transport coordination.
  • Open and close trails, monitor signage, and assess snow and weather conditions throughout the day.
  • Assist with guest inquiries and provide mountain information.
  • Handle rescue equipment, toboggans, and gear across all terrain and conditions.
  • Participate in trainings, refreshers, and on-mountain rescue drills.
  • Use two-way radios to coordinate with dispatch and other departments
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with injured guests, assisting in assessments and transports.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be 18+ years of age.
  • Must have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be an advanced skier or snowboarder.
  • Must hold current emergency medical certification (WFR, EMT, OEC).
  • Can work in extreme weather conditions (snow, wind, rain) for extended periods.
  • Can lift and ski/snowboard with 50+ lbs.
  • Remains calm and focused in high-stress or emergency situations
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
