Essential Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to a high-performing team responsible for IT infrastructure and DevOps initiatives.
- Mentor and coach a small team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Align team development plans with individual and organizational goals, addressing performance concerns in partnership with HR.
- Balance strategic leadership with technical oversight, project management, and day-to-day guidance.
IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Define and drive a modernization roadmap for MDK’s IT infrastructure—reducing complexity and enhancing security, reliability, and efficiency.
- Oversee network architecture and security, including support for remote office IT operations and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
- Lead vendor management, including cloud (Azure preferred) and data center providers, to ensure performance, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment.
- Manage infrastructure-related risk and ensure operational stability across all IT systems.
DevOps Strategy & Execution
- Lead the development and implementation of MDK’s DevOps strategy to support our shift to a modern, AI-driven platform.
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, cloud-based solutions to support business needs and growth.
- Ensure infrastructure and DevOps approaches are aligned with long-term organizational goals and technical strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a key member of the department leadership team, contributing to the firm’s broader technology and business strategy.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to align IT and DevOps strategies with business operations and goals.
- Champion a culture that reflects MDK’s mission and values—respect, creativity, collaboration, engagement, and advancement.
