Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a caseload of timeshare title matters, including title review, resolution of title defects, and preparation for litigation, if necessary.
- Review title examinations to identify and resolve ownership issues, lien prioritization, and other encumbrances related to timeshare properties.
- Draft and argue motions in connection with timeshare title disputes, quiet title actions, and foreclosure proceedings.
- Appear in court as needed to represent clients, make oral arguments, prepare exhibits, examine witnesses, and comply with all procedural requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to provide guidance and strategies for managing timeshare title portfolios and resolving title-related challenges.
- Negotiate resolutions with opposing counsel or pro-se parties and facilitate settlements in alignment with client directives.
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws relating to timeshare properties and title issues.
- Train and provide oversight to a team of paralegals and legal assistants working on timeshare-related matters.
- Engage with clients, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Provide general legal advice and counsel regarding compliance with various laws and regulations.
