- 2-3 years of experience in a health insurance sales and marketing environment.
- Previous experience in a health insurance environment, working with and presenting a variety of plan types and insurance products preferred.
- Understanding of individual health plans, short-term medical plans and ancillary benefits a plus.
- Telephone Sales or outbound call center experience preferred.
- Comfortable on Telephone - excellent professional telephone skills and etiquette.
- Strong customer service and People Skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong PC Skills, using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and presentation software.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and projects.
- Current state insurance license preferred.
- If hired, attainment of insurance producer license and certification to enroll plans on Healthcare.gov (also called FFM Certification) within 6 months is required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
PAY TRANSPARENCY
- The base pay range for this work is $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
- Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the Field Sales Representative production incentive bonus program. Total potential compensation varies by production: – base salary and bonus opportunities can add up to $120,000/yr. with potential for more.
- Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life and disability as well as 401k and Paid Time Off.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION
- Certificates or designations from industry organizations such as LOMA, AHIP, or AICP highly desired.
