The Grove’s High School Ministry exists to create an environment and community where students can be introduced to Jesus and transformed by him. The Coordinator works closely with the High School Pastor to create vision and develop programs and activities. This position also works closely with volunteers and students to shepherd them and tend to their spiritual care.

Works with: Ministry staff and volunteers, parents, students
Works: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Ministry Leadership - 50%
- Serve as part of the leadership team which crafts vision, mission and values of the High School Ministry.
- Recruit, train, schedule and supervise volunteers for weekend and midweek programs.
- Maintain communication with volunteers to ensure overall health and effectiveness.
- Assist the High School Pastor with coordinating appreciation for volunteer leaders.
- Partner with the High School Pastor in providing training opportunities and resources for parents in the spiritual development of their students.
- Lead and disciple students.
- Attend services, summer camp and annual missions trip.
Administrative Oversight – 40%
- Serve as point of contact for High School Ministry emails and phone calls.
- Facilitate communication with parents and volunteers.
- Oversee the Instagram page for the High School Ministry.
- Coordinate registrations, book venues, organize travel arrangements and transportation for events and services.
- Attain proficiency in the church database system and train others.
- Coordinate check-in at all High School events and activities.
- Work with the Communication team to prepare ministry promotional materials.
Other Ministry – 10%
- Cultivate intimacy with God and growth in Christ-like character through personal and corporate spiritual disciplines.
- Attend church all-staff meetings, devotions and trainings.
