- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree, and two (2) years' experience in Federal or State program management including but not limited the provision of public services by community based or non-profit social services agencies and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in grant writing and or contract management within the nonprofit sector.
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local contract administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency of project and program administration including the review and evaluation of project invoices, requests for payment/reimbursement and project awards/budgets.
- Individually motivated and operating with a sense of urgency and personal accountability.
- High proficiency in computer applications i.e. Microsoft word, Excel and database management.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to organize work, attention to detail, accuracy and the meeting of deadlines.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other Food Bank staff and outside entities.
- Ability to present a professional demeanor under a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Night and weekend work is required and routine.
