- College degree in relevant field plus two years development experience or relevant work experience.
- Work experience in fund development and marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Skills in computer applications i.e., word processing, and spreadsheet/database management.
- Good judgment and discretion.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to organize work, time, and self.
- Orientation to detail, accuracy, and the meeting of deadlines.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other Food Bank staff and volunteers.
- Ability to present a professional demeanor under a variety of conditions.
- Ability to supervise others and delegate appropriate tasks.
- Night and weekend work is required and routine.
- Personal vehicle is required.
- Possession of a current Texas driver's license, liability insurance and a clean driving record.
