Banquet Server

Overview: San Luis Obispo Country Club is a private country club nestled in beautiful Edna Valley among the hills and vineyards in San Luis Obispo, California. We offer exceptional dining and socializing in our beautiful clubhouse which can accommodate an intimate dinner for 10 up to an event for 220 people.

Job Duties:

• Sets up for events by putting on tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet.
• Carries plates of food on trays and serving guests.
• Keeps glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
• Performing cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
• Maintains highest standards of food safety and cleanliness

Salary Range: $17 per hour, plus tips and service charge share.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience as a banquet server, waiter or waitress preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand on your feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to operate POS system and telephone
• Excellent communication skills and comfortable working in fast-paced environment.
