SUMMARY:

The Part Time A-Team member contributes to the positive, frictionless, remarkable experience our guests receive at the Creation Museum. This is accomplished by being knowledgeable in Museum operation and processes, and by assisting Operations departments as they manage day-to-day operations. An A-Team member is expected to demonstrate a high-level of excellence in both operational understanding and attitude. This position has a career path that will develop your spiritual and professional growth goals. By supporting multiple projects in a God-honoring fashion, an A-Team member achieves great results and tackles challenges, all while having fun!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:     

  • Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis
  • Demonstrate the 4 A-Team Core Values: Unity, Teachability, Hard work, and Christlikeness
  • Model the behavior and culture of a Creation Museum team member
  • Execute exceptional guest service, as outlined in all formalized department training experience
  • Assist with guest flow throughout the attraction, frequently by interacting with and provide direction to our guests
  • Serve all departments by attending to daily operational tasks
  • Assist with set up and break down of special events as needed
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and staff, actively monitoring potential slip and trip hazards
  • Maintain thorough understanding of evacuation protocol
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Customer service oriented, dedicated to high guest satisfaction levels
  • Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to anticipate needs and priorities
  • Basic math skills: accuracy in cash and financial transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work outdoors for reasonable lengths of time
  • Must be able to stand and move about throughout the attraction for the entire length of shift
  • Bend and lift between 20 to 40 pounds
  • Must be at least 18 years-old
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and priorities

Education & Experience

  • High school Diploma preferred
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other productivity tools preferred
  • Driver’s license required
