The Seasonal AV Technician at Answers in Genesis provides audio and visual technology service and support for Answers in Genesis, the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The Seasonal AV Technician is responsible for live event audio, video and lighting support, technical support, exhibit AV support, operation and maintenance of all AV technology throughout all of Answers in Genesis facilities. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference. This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion. Responsibilities
Be a reflection of Jesus in all you do and say.
Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
Support daily museum operations. This includes, but not limited to: exhibit AV, event audio, video, and lighting, conference room AV support.
Live Audio, Lighting programming and operation, basic AV troubleshooting.
Work closely with AV Manager.
All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith
Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Regular attendance at a local Bible-believing church.
Flexible Schedule. All Technicians need to be available for before and after normal hours for AV support.
Must be able to work weekends.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and be able to climb ladders.
Must be a self-starter and be able to see jobs through to completion.
Must have a servant's heart.
