Description

The role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Project Manager will coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project success. Project types include software development, off-the-shelf applications as well as infrastructure upgrades and implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track progress and resource allocation.
  • Lead project meetings and communicate project objectives, roles, and responsibilities to team members.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, including status updates, milestone achievements, and budget/spending.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT developers, business analysts, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure project alignment and execution.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and reviews to gather feedback, resolve issues, and make decisions.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate lessons learned and identify areas for improvement.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years experience in technical project management, program management, or business/systems analysis.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Working use of a project planning tool (e.g. JIRA, Monday, ClickUp). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience working with remote teams and distributed stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and IT service management (ITSM) processes.
