American Academy (AA) KindiePrep has an opening for a full-time preschool teacher for our 2025-2026 school year at our Motsenbocker campus. KindiePrep is a preschool program designed for children from ages three to five years old that prepares young children with an early foundation for educational success, emphasizing a whole-child approach to academics, social-emotional development and creative play.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the mission and philosophy of American Academy with enthusiasm, commitment, and integrity.
Teach American Academy's curriculum as designed.
Uphold and model American Academy’s Core Virtues and AA Manners.
Work as a positive team member to provide an exceptional educational experience.
Meet each child’s academic, social and emotional needs.
Provide a safe, nurturing environment to ensure each child’s developmental growth.
Develop and maintain a positive partnership with parents through frequent communication of progress and concerns.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, related field, or must be teacher qualified according to Colorado State Child Care Guidelines.
Colorado State Teacher License preferred, but not required.
Preferred Experience:
Preschool Core Knowledge Language Arts
Familiarity with a hands on, experiential science program
Understanding of best practices in teaching early reading and writing skills according to each child’s developmental needs
Experience teaching basic math skills in a preschool environment through the GoMath! curriculum
