NIKA is hiring for a Quality Control Manager (QCM) to manage and administer a base operations support services contract at USCG Base Kodiak, AK!

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for implementing the Quality Control Program (QCP), developing quality control metrics and checklists, collecting data, conducting analysis, and auditing BOS performance area.
  • Responsible for safety compliance and collecting data for customer support.
  • Enforce project quality control plans and associated standards.
  • Perform inspection of all work center monthly
  • Chair monthly QC briefings to senior management and customer.
  • Manage, schedule, review, and certify all submittals for client review and approval.
  • Conduct periodic follow up inspections to verify that work is proceeding in accordance with the PWS and corrective action plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Expected to be on site during normal duty hours.

 

Required Skills

  • Minimum of four years of experience in quality assurance or project management on base operations support contracts or contracts of similar size and scope
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • Experience with FARS, DFARS, and other federal regulatory guidance, laws, and requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
