NIKA is hiring for an Initial Outfitting and Transition (IOT) Coordinator to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Program in managing facility projects based out of San Antonio, TX! The IOT Coordinator serves as the Defense Health Agency - Facility Enterprise (DHA FE) expert for the planning and execution of IOT projects. 

Responsibilities: 
• Assists Project Officer and IPT planning efforts and assists the life-cycle project team in managing the project’s outfitting and transition requirements to include but not limited to scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Provides “IO&T Quality Oversight” to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintains constant communications with all assigned project planning personnel and conducts site walk-throughs with planning personnel and alone.
• Tracks assigned projects budget at all times and assists DHA-FE with remaining within allocated budget.
• Validates all IO&T project commodities/services budget documentation and creates IO Reconciliation modification documents for review/approval by DHA-FE and Agent.
• Monitors/ensures project artwork budget remains within federal law allocations. Coordinates with Interior Designer planner on any artwork issues.
• Conducts all project pre-final acceptance, re-inspections after delays, and final FFE-LVS inspections. Includes full functionality testing and coordination of medical equipment testing for all new and reuse FFE-LVS to support user mission,

Qualifications: 
• Have a minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in DoD and/or VA healthcare FFE-LVS and Transition planning services and implementation.
• Well-versed in healthcare infrastructure, operations, and/or practice and have direct experience in logistics, equipment and transition activities.
• Experience requirements may be satisfied with a combination of experiences in multiple functional areas, as long as they have a minimum of eight (8) years in a military healthcare or military healthcare support environment.
