QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Associates degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high volume payroll processing for a medium to large multi-shift, multi-location workforce.
- Knowledge and experience using a major payroll platform or in house processing required.
- 401k administration experience a plus.
- CPP or other payroll certification desirable
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, identify errors and prepare reports.
- Strong Knowledge of federal/state wage and hour laws, including garnishments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Aptitude to learn new systems and programs quickly and apply knowledge to related situations.
- Self-starter, creative thinker and problem solver.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Effective customer service, time management and organizational skills necessary.
- Commitment to quality and collaboration in a team based environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
