Job Summary
This position reports directly to the Outreach & Creative Manager under the Marketing, Merchandising, & Analytics Department. In this role, the Photographer & Videographer plays a vital role in capturing and creating captivating visual content that brings our brand's story to life. This dual-role position requires a skilled professional who excels in both videography and photography with a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for storytelling. The Photographer & Videographer role requires a passion for producing high-quality videos and images that resonate with our target audience, align with our brand's vision, and contribute to the overall success of our marketing campaigns. The Photographer & Videographer must collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to various projects from commercials to educational content.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that effectively inspires customers and communicates our brand's message across various channels, including television, social media, website, advertisements, and more.
- Conceptualize and execute creative video ideas, from storyboarding and scripting to filming and post-production editing for TV/OTT/paid social ads/internal meetings/education.
- Schedule dog, cat, or product shoots in studio, in store, or off site to capture compelling photographs and videos that showcase our products, services, and brand essence while adhering to established photography guidelines and brand standards
- Set up, operate, organize, and maintain video and photography production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio, and accessories.
- Gets and approves in-budget quotes from vendors for equipment rentals as needed.
- Coordinates video requests and projects from outside vendors and agencies as needed.
- Executes pricing evaluations on asset licensing platforms.
- Maintain an organized digital library of video and photo assets for easy access and retrieval.
- Manages YouTube account and education video library.
- Creates and edits PowerPoints for company leadership as needed.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to understand project objectives, messaging, and target audience to ensure visual content aligns with campaign goals.
- Stay current with industry trends and evolving technologies in videography and photography to apply new techniques to elevate the quality of our content.
- Attend Marketing Team meetings and creative brainstorming sessions to contribute expertise and ideas.
- Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
