Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist at Hollywood Feed is responsible for managing and executing full-cycle recruiting efforts to support high-volume hiring across retail stores, distribution centers, and support departments. A core focus of this role is the management, optimization, and daily administration of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure an efficient, data-driven hiring process that supports the company’s growth. This position partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure staffing needs are met with top-tier talent and that all recruiting activities are tracked and reported accurately.

 

Key Responsibilities:

High-Volume Recruiting & Sourcing

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions, including retail associates, assistant managers, and store managers.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, internal databases, and community outreach.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate next steps with hiring managers.
  • Manage recruiting events and support seasonal and expansion-based hiring efforts across multiple markets.

Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Hollywood Feed’s ATS - including setup of job requisitions, user permissions, workflow updates, and integrations.
  • Train and support hiring managers on ATS use, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system compliance.
  • Audit applicant records and system data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and legal compliance.
  • Generate recruiting and pipeline reports to track time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and other KPIs.
  • Partner with HRIS and Payroll to ensure ATS processes align with broader HR technology infrastructure.

Hiring Manager & Candidate Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices.
  • Create and maintain a positive and consistent candidate experience from application through onboarding.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable employment laws and internal policies during the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of recruiting activities for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics, trends, and hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycor) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and legal and business judgment, with ability to influence others and build strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, including ability to prioritize issues.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Ability to work independently.

 

  Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
