Summary

Brief Role Description: This role will monitor the daily bank activity, oversee billing, credit & collections, inventory, & verify pricing. Review & Audit accounts to ensure proper posting, and make various month-end entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed. Report weekly OSB totals to management and confirm Backlog.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Review/Post Daily Banking.
  • Process inventory transfers & adjustments.
  • Verify Pricing against target margins.
  • Complete collection calls weekly and email updates to the team.
  • Process Customer Credit applications. Check references & Credit Reports, etc.
  • Maintain inventory items in ERP system.
  • Post Daily Production Builds.
  • Balance and clear EOM intercompany items from AP & AR Aging.
  • Post monthly entries from Corporate SmartSheet (Group Health, Workers Comp, Gen/Liability Insurance, etc.)
  • Verify Accruals & other EOM entries.
  • Post Depreciation and any disposals/additions.
  • Balance and clear EOM intercompany items from AP & AR Aging.
  • Post monthly entries from Corporate SmartSheet (Group Health, Workers Comp, Gen/Liability Insurance, etc.)
  • Verify Accruals & other EOM entries.
  • Post Depreciation and any disposals/additions.
  • Reconcile ERP inventory counts with warehouse counts. Complete recounts inventory as needed and verify adjustments.
  • Assist in yearly inventory audit.
  • Customer Invoicing
  • Upload Positive Pay File to the bank for any live checks issued.
  • Review & Decision any Positive Pay exceptions.
  • Post customer payments. Attach payment remittances to record in QuickBooks.

Education and/or Experience

3-5 years’ experience in accounting/finance related position

Bachelor or associates degree in finance or related field, preferred

 

Travel

Some routine travel might be required.

 

Computer Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Experience working with QuickBooks, preferred
