Position Overview:
Aquana is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Director, Northeast (CT, DC, DE, IN, MA, MD, ME, MI, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, & WV) to lead our sales strategy and business development efforts across the region. This role will be responsible for expanding market share, managing key customer and reseller relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting Aquana’s smart water management solutions to water companies/utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth in the Northeast.
- Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including water utilities, municipalities, government agencies, and private sector clients.
- Lead sales efforts for Aquana’s smart water management solutions for remote shut off valves.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to close high-value deals.
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting sales performance to senior leadership.
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive positioning in the region.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and offerings for the region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partners, distributors, and resellers to enhance sales reach.
- Represent Aquana at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Customer Engagement & Support
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with their operational and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the customer success and technical teams to ensure seamless project implementation and post-sales support.
- Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the product development team for continuous improvement.
