Overview
The Dispatch Router works the night shift (10:00PM-7:00AM) and is responsible coordinating, planning, and overseeing nighttime and early morning Delivery Truck Driver routing for Keany Produce Company.
Essential Job Function
- Create and build routes using Road net and Mobile Cast Programs
- Work with the Transportation Department, Shipping Department, and Sales Department and interdepartmentally to manage supply chain logistics, including routing and truck utilization strategies to create greater efficiencies.
- Handle internal challenges and elevated external client complaints and strive to find pro-active ways to reduce them
- Distribute the dispatch routing and all related information to the designated department representative in an accurate and timely manner
- Anticipates and determines causes of delays in deliveries and takes appropriate action to meet shipping schedules.
