Days of Work and Schedule The camp will operate from June 16 to August 1, 2025, with weekday / overnight hours beginning each Monday at 8 AM to Friday at 4 PM. The role includes one weekend shift from July 19 - 20th, scheduled between Week 4 (July 14st- 18th) and Week 5 (July 21th-25st]).

Purpose

To provide persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities an exciting camp experience by providing the support and assistance needed.

Qualifications

  • Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
  • Preferably possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
  • Must possess basic computer skills and be proficient in the English Language (written and oral)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent if required by work location

Essential Functions

  • Follows the guidance of the Camp Director and the Assistant Director for all items related to the implementation of the camp program.
  • Identifies and reports any suspected abuse or violations of a person's rights.
  • Provides support, assistance, and supervision for each person to participate in the camp activities.
  • Ensures that each person's health, safety, and well-being are always protected.
  • Provides a positive, reinforcing environment that promotes independence and choice.
  • Follows positioning schedules and uses the proper equipment and assistive devices per each person's plan.
  • Provides the necessary level of assistance for appropriate diet, texture, and mealtime equipment.
  • Ensures all cabins, outside areas, and vehicles are well-maintained and organized.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
