We are seeking a self-starter with strong organizational skills and a solid command of technology to join our legal team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable working independently, and values precision and discretion in their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize legal files, both physical and digital, with a focus on confidentiality and accessibility
- Act as an assisant to Firms' General Counsel
- Track important deadlines, appointments, and meetings using calendaring tools
- Manage confidential correspondence and legal communications with discretion and professionalism
- Assist in the preparation and publishing of engagement binders, particularly in support of subpoena responses
- Support litigation-related tasks as needed, including document tracking and case preparation
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external vendors
- Perform general administrative duties such as document formatting, file management, and scheduling
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a legal assistant, executive assistant, paralegal, or office manager
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
- Proficient with computers and productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, calendaring systems)
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience working with litigators or in a litigation setting is a plus
- Associates' and/or Bachelor's degree or a paralegal certificate is preferred but not required
- Ability to work at least 3 days a week in the office at Galleria location
