We are looking for a Data Engineering Director to join the Development team. They’re responsible for implementing data solutions for the firm.
Responsibilities are, but not limited to:
- Data Infrastructure & Architecture – Lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance data systems, including but not limited to data pipelines, lakes, and warehouses.
- Team Leadership – Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Pipeline & ETL Optimization – Lead the development and optimization of efficient data workflows and ETL processes.
- Data Governance & Quality – Implement data governance policies to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
- Reporting & Analytics – Ensure data infrastructure supports accurate reporting and analytics for the Business Intelligence team.
- Emerging Technology Integration – Collaborate with the innovation team to explore, pilot, and implement emerging technologies that demonstrate business value.
- Optimize Data Workflows – Continuously monitor and improve the scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency of data systems, while leveraging cloud-native tools and best practices to streamline operations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Work with data analysts and business teams to ensure alignment of data solutions with business needs.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement – Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices to improve data engineering processes.
