JOB SUMMARY:
Accountable for the performance of pharmacy functions, including robotics, that serves clients in Idaho Falls and the surrounding communities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The incumbent prepares compounded or other pharmaceuticals at the direction of and under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. All duties performed by the intern/extern must be carried out in accordance with the rules and regulations set down by the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
- All pharmaceuticals prepared by the Pharmacy Technician/Intern/Extern must be checked by a licensed pharmacist prior to being dispensed for patient use.
- Accountable for performing clerical functions to support smooth administrative operation of the pharmacy.
- Performs record maintenance, billing, phone reception and counter reception, and/or other clerical functions as directed.
- May run occasional errands as needed
- Must maintain confidentiality of patient records and employee information and use discretion.
- The employee is required to comply with all PCI standards and other company policies and procedures for payment card acceptance and security.
