Mountain View Hospital is looking for a LPN/RN Clinic Supervisor to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:       

Oversees daily operations of the Blackfoot Medical Center clinic to provide patients with the best possible care experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nurse Supervisor:

1. Provide care to patients under the direction of the attending physician & follow all duties as listed for Blackfoot Medical Center RN/LPN
2. Directs personnel in the care of patients.
3. Acts as a resource for lower level personnel.
4. The employee is required to comply with all PCI standards and other company policies and procedures for payment card acceptance and security.
5. Will be involved in administrative duties such as:
6. • Scheduling
   • Education
   • Training
   • Charting and reviewing of charts.
   • Resolving or reporting employee issues.
   • Budget monitoring
   • Supply management and any necessary tasks for smooth clinic operation.
   • Hiring of new staff members
   • Discipline of staff members as needed
   • Regular evaluations of staff
7. Ability to work well with others; be a positive example and motivating personality within the clinic.
8. Work with Medical Director & QA Officer for updating, creating & reviewing Policies & Procedures for the Blackfoot Medical Center Department.
9. Assist in resolving patient concerns.
10. Work with departmental Team Leads to create smooth operation of the clinic and cohesion of the departments.
11. Conduct regular meetings with Team Leads as well as all staff.
12. Oversee clinic training with assistance of the Blackfoot Medical Center nurse.
13. Facilitate good communication between clinic and hospital departments & administration.

Education/Certification:  Current licensure as a Registered/Practical Nurse in the State of Idaho.  BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required or must be attained within 6 months of hire.

Experience:  Five years in a clinic setting.

Equipment/Technology:  Must be able to use Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.

Language/Communication:  Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Mathematical Skills:  General mathematics.

Performance:   Full time position requiring some weekends and holidays.
